I-295/I-76/Route 42 Direct Connect

The project involved reconfiguring the interchange of I-295, I-76, and Route 42 to provide a direct connection for I-295 through the interchange.

M&S was responsible for utility coordination with 14 utility companies, as well as roadway drainage and underdrain design for the I-76 and Route 42 portions of the project.

Water Resources work included:

  • Highway storm water drainage spread calculations
  • Developing storm water management plans 
  • Design of manufactured treatment device for water quality
