This project involved the installation of multiple scanning utilities at an Amtrak owned track. These utilities included several cameras, undercairrage examiners, speed sensors, LED lighting arrays, RFID readers, and more. 

Malick & Scherer, P.C. was responsible site/civil engineering design services as well as environmental permitting, utility identification, and survey work related to the design and installation required.

  • Erosion Control Measures
  • Traffic Control Measures

As part of the Environmental Permitting process, M&S assessed the proposed construction activities and established the project’s environmental permitting requirements. 

M&S then submitted required applications and secured approvals in addition to designing measures to assure that soil, water, and related natural resources were managed during and after construction in a manner which prevented soil loss and related environmental damage.
