Mr. Malick, President/CEO of the firm, has served the transportation industry for over 30 years. He has accumulated a wealth of engineering and management experience in transportation engineering and the project delivery process. He has managed multiple capital improvement projects for various public agencies, including NJDOT, NJ Transit, NJ Turnpike Authority, PANYNJ, NYCDDC, DRJTBC, PennDOT, and SEPTA. His current focus is on client relations and the strategic growth of the firm. He earned his bachelor’s degree from NED University of Engineering and Technology, and his master’s degree from NJ Institute of Technology. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Maryland, and is also a Certified Municipal Engineer.
Mr. Zalewski serves as the Senior Vice President and Director of Water Resources, overseeing the staffing and operational functions of the firm. He brings over 25 years of experience to M&S. He is also responsible for the Environmental/Civil Site Department, which includes oversight of civil/site engineering, stormwater management, hydraulic and hydrologic studies, bridge scour analysis, drainage design, and environmental permitting. The department combines proficiency in hydrologic/hydraulic procedures and software with thorough knowledge of current environmental regulations to successfully coordinate and obtain approvals from regulatory agencies. Mr. Zalewski has served as the project manager and/or technical supervisor for projects involving flood hazard, pinelands, CAFRA, wetlands, stormwater management, riparian zones and dam safety permits. Mr. Zalewski earned a BS degree from New Jersey Institute of Technology and is a licensed Professional Engineer in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Delaware. He is also a Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) and a Certified Stormwater Manager (CSM).
Mr. Ragazzo is a Structural Engineer with over 25 years of experience in all aspects of bridge design, rehabilitation, and inspection as well as other areas of structural design. He has served as Project Manager or technical lead on bridge projects that included field inspection, superstructure and substructure design, structural bridge improvements from minor repairs to full replacement and construction inspection for culverts, steel truss bridges, concrete bridges and steel beam bridges. In addition, Mr. Ragazzo has been the technical lead for the initial design, structural analysis, and rehabilitation design of overhead sign structures, steel equipment electrical towers, and utility poles. He has also been responsible for structural evaluation and rehabilitation design on projects involving transit facilities and infrastructure. Mr. Ragazzo is a licensed Professional Engineer in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Maryland.
Mr. McAlpin is the Director of Surveying with over 30 years of land surveying experience. For more than two decades, he has focused on serving the transportation industry. He has been responsible for boundary and topographic surveys, utility, right-of-way analysis and plans, basemapping, establishing project control and control reports, ALTA/ACSM Title surveys, LiDAR survey, 3-D scanning, as-built surveys, and subdivisions. He is experienced in the following public agency procedures and standards: PennDOT, NJTA, NJDOT, NJ Transit, SEPTA, PANYNJ, AMTRAK and NYCDDC. Mr. McAlpin is a licensed Professional Land Surveyor in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania.
Mr. Bekhiet brings more than 25 years of transportation/infrastructure experience to M&S, including fifteen years in program and construction management services. Mr. Bekhiet has extensive experience in overseeing construction personnel on teams providing program and construction management/inspection on major roadway reconstruction and facility improvements projects for major government agencies such as MTA, PANYNJ, NYCDDC, NYCHA, and NYCDEP. Prior to joining the transportation consulting community, Mr. Bekhiet worked for the NJDOT for sixteen years in various planning, design and project management positions.
Mr. Teets is a civil engineer with over 20 years of experience, mainly focused in the area of utility infrastructure coordination and relocation. He has served as Utility Task Leader on numerous projects throughout the tri-state area for agencies including NJDOT, NJTA, NJ Transit, PennDOT, SEPTA, PANYNJ, Amtrak, City of Philadelphia as well as numerous counties and local municipalities. In this role, Mr. Teets is responsible for identifying relocation needs and ensuring that an efficient and seamless coordination occurs with respect to all interested stakeholders while simultaneously adhering to all state and client requirements. Mr. Teets has served as the Lead Utility Engineer on a number of high-profile regional improvement projects including the I-295 Direct Connect, NJTA Interchange 14A Improvements, GSP Milepost 83 to 100 Shoulder Improvements, and Route 22 Roadway Widening in Allentown, PA. Mr. Teets has over twenty years of engineering experience and received his BS degree from Rutgers University.
Mr. Troncone is a licensed Professional Engineer with over 30 years of experience in transportation and facility related projects. He has served in roles such as Department Manager, supervising transportation engineering staff; Lead Highway Design Manager; and Project Manager on various high profile projects. His experience includes concept development, preliminary engineering and final design on local, State and Federally funded projects ranging from highway resurfacing and reconstruction, traffic signal and intersection improvements, on and off road multimodal facilities, to bridge rehabilitation and replacement projects, His site civil experience includes parking, public safety, public works and recreational facilities. He is well-versed in State and Federal regulatory permitting. He is a registered Professional Engineer is New Jersey.
Mr. Sporny has over 18 years of planning, design, and management experience working on complex transportation projects across the United States, with an expertise in the fields of Traffic Engineering, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), and Transportation Lighting Systems. Mr. Sporny provides technical leadership for these services as well as assisting with project delivery and quality assurance for our multidisciplinary transportation projects across NJ, NY, and PA. Mr. Sporny is a registered Professional Engineer in NJ, NY, PA, and AZ, and is active in ASHE Southern NJ.
Mr. Schueller, PE, has more than 30 years of technical and management experience on a wide variety of civil transportation and infrastructure projects. He has extensive experience in design and preparation of contract plans and specifications on engineering projects for airports, highway and roadways, bridges, rail and transit, buildings, and water resources projects. He has successful management in all facets of Design-Bid-Build project development. Mr. Schueller is a licensed Professional Engineer in NY, NJ and PA, and is an ASFPM Certified Floodplain Manager. He is an active member in ACEC NY&NJ, ASCE and ASHE.
